Speaking at Power Agent Conference 2025 in Rome

Hi folks,

Last week I had the pleasure of participating in the Power Agent Conference 2025, which took place on September 26, 2025, at the Microsoft Italia office in Rome! 🇮🇹

The event was organized by the DotNetCode community, and as always, it was great to be part of it. I’ve been involved with this community for a while now, and they consistently put together solid events that bring together people who are passionate about technology and development.

The Event

Power Agent Conference 2025 brought together developers and professionals interested in AI agents, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, and intelligent applications. Beyond the technical content, it was also a chance to catch up with friends and fellow MVPs, and meet new people in the community.

My Session: Beyond Copilot - Declarative Agents and TypeSpec, a Developer’s Guide

I presented a session titled “Oltre Copilot: Declarative Agents e TypeSpec, una Guida per Dev” (Beyond Copilot: Declarative Agents and TypeSpec, a Developer’s Guide).

What We Covered

Have you already implemented Copilot for Microsoft 365 in your organization? Great! But now it’s time to truly build on that foundation.

In this session, we explored:

• Creating Declarative Agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Extending Copilot’s capabilities with custom actions, external knowledge, and advanced interactions
• Using TypeSpec: Microsoft’s declarative language for describing agents, APIs, and skills
• Leveraging the M365 Agents Toolkit: Developing, testing, and deploying Copilot extensions directly from Visual Studio Code

It was a hands-on session for developers who want to build scalable, AI-driven solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365.

Session Feedback

The room was packed, which was awesome to see, and I got some really good feedback afterward. It’s always rewarding when people engage with the content and ask good questions… that’s what makes these sessions worth doing.
