Redmond Calling: My MVP Summit 2025 Adventure

Hi folks,
🔥 Another MVP Summit has come to an end, and what an incredible experience it was! From March 25 to 27, I had the privilege of attending the MVP Summit 2025 at the Microsoft Redmond Campus, near Seattle (WA). This exclusive event brings together MVPs and Regional Directors from all over the world for deep technical discussions, networking, and exciting insights into what’s coming next in the Microsoft ecosystem. ✈️ The Journey: From Sardinia to Redmond
My journey started in Sardinia, with a layover in Milan and then Frankfurt, where I met my fellow Italian MVPs. It’s always great to reconnect before heading off together to Redmond!
To fight off jet lag, I took advantage of the weekend for a special trip to Astoria, Oregon—the legendary filming location of The Goonies! 🎬 Walking through these iconic spots was an unforgettable experience, bringing back childhood memories of this classic adventure movie.

🎤 Kicking Off the MVP Summit
On Monday, the event officially began! As always, the Product Group sessions were incredibly engaging, and the international atmosphere made every discussion even more exciting. Meeting MVPs and Microsoft experts from around the world is always one of the best parts of the Summit. What Microsoft does for us is also special. There is a so-called “Wall of MVP” with the names of all active MVPs from around the world, and this year, I found my name there as well.

The MVP Wall of Names at MVP Summit 2025
This year, I had the privilege of being selected by Avanade as one of the MVPs to attend the Summit in person. It was a true honor to be part of this talented group, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity! 🧡

🤐 What’s New? It’s All Under NDA!
Of course, I can’t share any details about what we learned (NDA rules apply! 🤫), but I can say that the future looks very exciting. The current global situation is complex, but at the same time, business opportunities are huge, especially with AI and the evolution of the modern workplace.
Working with Microsoft 365 and Copilot is at the heart of what I do, and our mission is clear:
✅ Help people enhance their daily work
✅ Support customers in leveraging AI-powered tools
It’s not just about technology—it’s a real mission!
🎙️ A Special Episode of Copilot Espresso
During a lunch break, Sonia and I recorded a special episode of Copilot Espresso directly from Redmond! ☕🎙️ We had the pleasure of hosting Fabio Franzini, an amazing friend, fellow MVP, and CEO of Apvee Solutions. If you want to watch the episode, you can find it here.
🎮 A Visit to Microsoft Studio B & The Quietest Room in the World
One of the coolest experiences at the Microsoft Campus was a guided tour of Microsoft Studio B, home of the Xbox division.
Even though I’m not a huge gamer (yes, I know—it’s strange! 😅), it was fascinating to see how Xbox accessories are designed and developed.
But the highlight of the tour? Visiting one of the quietest rooms in the world! 🏢🔇
This anechoic chamber is designed to absorb all sound, creating an environment so quiet that you can literally hear your own heartbeat and the blood flowing through your veins. Standing in that room was surreal—the absence of noise is so extreme that it can be disorienting! A truly unique experience.
🍬 A Sweet Gift from Sardinia
During the Summit, I wanted to bring a little gift to both the friends I already knew and the new ones I met. I chose some Sardinian sweets as a small taste of my homeland to share a piece of our tradition. It was so rewarding to see how much they were appreciated, and how such a simple gesture can create a bond between different cultures.

🎉 Looking Forward to Next Year!
This was my third MVP Summit, and once again, it was a fantastic experience.
As of today, I’ve officially submitted my MVP Award renewal request—now I have to wait until July 2025 to find out if I’ll be back next year. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Got any questions? Drop them in the comments, and I’ll be happy to answer! 👇😊
